Legal Counsel – French & Spanish Law

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with deep knowledge of French and Spanish law to join a fast‑growing international tech company in Spain. You will act as a strategic advisor, supporting the expansion of digital mobility services across Europe while ensuring compliance with complex regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on platform regulation, e‑commerce, transportation law, consumer protection and digital services.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, partnership agreements, marketing contracts and licensing arrangements.
• Manage pre‑litigation and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Support regulatory interactions and respond to governmental inquiries across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure business activities comply with French, Spanish and EU legal frameworks.
• Develop pragmatic, business‑oriented legal solutions that balance risk and operational goals.
• Contribute to legal process improvements, project management and workflow efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with cross‑functional teams and deliver clear legal guidance.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience as a qualified lawyer in an EU jurisdiction, either in‑house or in private practice.
• Strong expertise in French law and proven knowledge of Spanish law.
• Experience in technology‑driven or high‑growth environments.
• Solid background in commercial contracts, e‑commerce, platform regulation, consumer protection and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and risk‑assessment abilities.
• Business‑oriented mindset with a solution‑driven approach.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal projects.
