Legal Counsel – In‑house Commercial & Regulatory

About the role

The Legal Counsel will support our Spanish operations by handling commercial and regulatory legal matters. The role involves drafting and reviewing agreements, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and working closely with internal teams and external counsel. The successful candidate will be comfortable coordinating with both in‑house and external counsel on a variety of legal topics.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to internal departments on commercial and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional agreements.
• Collaborate with other in‑house lawyers and external counsel as needed.
• Identify and mitigate potential legal risks before they arise.
• Support compliance initiatives and respond to regulatory inquiries.

Required profile

• Qualified Spanish lawyer (Abogado) with a valid license to practice.
• Minimum 3 years of legal experience, preferably in reputable firms within the technology sector.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
