Legal Counsel - Live Productions (US / UK Qualified)

About the role

Fever, a global platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring a US or UK qualified lawyer with experience in production work to join its Legal Department at its headquarters in Madrid. Reporting to the Legal Director, you will work closely with the Originals teams on production-related matters, advising on legal issues so that event productions (including co-produced and licensed events) run smoothly and comply with legal and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on agreements covering content development, event production, distribution, marketing, sponsorship and talent engagements, while improving contract templates and processes.
• Identify legal risks, design mitigation strategies and support business and production teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Carry out legal research and give clear, actionable guidance to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage legal projects, oversee contract workflows, maintain legal databases and support compliance on intellectual property, data privacy and regulatory matters.
• Support incident management and dispute resolution with litigation specialists and coordinate stakeholder responses.
• Prepare and update templates, guides and documents, and deliver training, memoranda and presentations to staff and colleagues in the Legal Department.

Required profile

• Qualified US or UK barred lawyer with 4+ years of post-qualification in-house experience in an experience-economy or live production company; top-tier law firm experience is a plus.
• Native or bilingual English is a must; additional languages are a plus.
• Able to take ownership and prioritise resources for multiple time-sensitive projects.
• Effective communicator with emotional intelligence, able to advise executives and creative teams clearly.
