Legal Counsel (Strategic Transactions)

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring a Legal Counsel (Strategic Transactions / M&A) for its Legal, GRC and Policy department. The role sits in the Corporate / M&A team, reports directly to the Lead Counsel and advises on corporate transactions, especially joint ventures and co-investments, in a fast-paced, international environment. It requires autonomy, attention to detail and drive, and involves working across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review joint venture and co-investment agreements and ancillary transactional documents
• Support business teams and management in negotiations, from initial analysis to execution
• Coordinate and prioritise work with external legal advisors
• Prepare and revise internal templates, guides and knowledge management documents, and manage documents
• Assist with general corporate governance for the Fever group
• Take part in ongoing compliance functions as required
• Help upskill and support other team members

Required profile

• Barred or practising corporate lawyer (law firm) with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate transactions; M&A or media / entertainment experience is a plus
• Fluent English with legal English, preferably with Spanish
• Strong academic record or experience in top companies or top-tier law firms
• Keen attention to detail, strong financial and commercial awareness, and strong technical skills
• Effective communicator with emotional intelligence
