Legal Counsel (Telecommunications)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our telecommunications team. The role provides essential legal and compliance support across national and international operations, helping the business navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key responsibilities

• Offer daily legal guidance to internal departments and advise on contractual matters.
• Assist in resolving disputes, managing claims, and overseeing litigation or arbitration procedures.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors both locally and abroad.
• Support the Board of Directors and participate in corporate governance activities.
• Manage risk and compliance issues, including anti‑bribery, data protection, and export‑control programs.
• Review contracts and legal documents to ensure accuracy and mitigate risk.
• Oversee legal risks linked to international commercial and engineering projects, supporting negotiations and dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law; bar admission preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish civil and commercial law and familiarity with EU regulations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal or corporate environment.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
