Legal Department Manager

About the role

Costa Blanca Investments is looking for an experienced Legal Department Manager to lead residential property transactions from reservation through completion and post‑sale administration. You will act as the central hub for clients, agents, notaries, architects, registries and other stakeholders, ensuring every transaction complies with Spanish property regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate property transactions from reservation to completion.
• Prepare, review and administer reservation agreements, deposit (Arras) contracts and related documentation.
• Verify property registration status and ensure legal compliance before completion.
• Liaise with notaries, architects, registries, lawyers and external partners to resolve legal or administrative issues.
• Prepare notarisation documents, calculate completion statements, taxes and settlement figures.
• Communicate financial obligations, timelines and requirements to clients.
• Coordinate utility transfers and post‑completion administrative processes.
• Monitor milestones, ensure contractual obligations are met and resolve any blockers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in property transactions, conveyancing, legal administration or real‑estate operations within Spain.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Full driving licence and own vehicle.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Professional communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
