Linux System Administrator – Large‑Scale Hosting Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to join the team that operates one of Europe’s largest and most complex hosting platforms. You will ensure stability, performance and evolution of the Stretch platform, working on critical production systems and driving continuous improvement of a highly distributed infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and evolve large‑scale Linux infrastructure.
• Provide Level‑3 support for complex platform incidents.
• Automate processes using BASH and Python scripts and infrastructure tools.
• Manage distributed storage systems based on Ceph.
• Monitor and analyse the platform with observability tools such as Grafana.
• Continuously improve system architecture and stability.
• Collaborate with international teams and share knowledge from legacy systems.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation (approximately one week every six weeks).

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Fluent English for international communication.
• Technical curiosity, continuous learning mindset and pragmatic problem‑solving.
• Team player with proactive attitude in an international environment.
