Local Procurement Officer

About the role

The Local Procurement Officer supports Allianz Services’ operations in Portugal, Spain and Malaysia by managing end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting activities. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into sourcing strategies while ensuring compliance with global procurement standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RFQ/RFP processes for local categories, evaluate proposals and support negotiations.
• Act as the primary contact for business units on sourcing and contract matters.
• Negotiate contract terms, maintain documentation and ensure legal compliance.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, analyse spend data and report procurement performance.
• Maintain adherence to the Allianz Global Standard for Procurement and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in an international or shared‑services environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Interest in IT and Generative AI is considered an asset.

Required skills

• SAP Ariba Source‑to‑Contract.
• Familiarity with SAP MM and procurement reporting tools.
