Logistics Coordinator – JIT Plant

About the role

You will coordinate the end‑to‑end material flow in a Just‑in‑Time (JIT) manufacturing environment, ensuring the right parts arrive at the right time to keep production running smoothly. The role requires close collaboration with production teams, suppliers and transport partners to maintain lean inventory and high service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to meet JIT production schedules.
• Manage daily transport plans, carrier communication and shipment tracking to avoid line stoppages.
• Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment while keeping stock minimal.
• Work with production planners and suppliers to align delivery windows and adapt to demand changes.
• Resolve logistics disruptions quickly, including shortages, urgent shipments and transport issues.
• Analyze logistics performance (OTIF, lead times, costs) and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP and transport systems for real‑time visibility.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of logistics, supply chain or production support experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in a Just‑in‑Time or automotive lean manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and transport or warehouse management tools.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent.
