Logistics Operations Specialist – Service Provider Management

About the role

The Service Provider Operations Coordinator will oversee and optimise third‑party service providers supporting JD.com’s logistics and supply‑chain activities across Spain. You will ensure efficient, cost‑effective, and high‑quality service delivery while fostering strong partner relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for service provider selection, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) with providers.
• Monitor provider performance against KPIs and SLAs, identify improvement areas and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and business meetings to promote continuous improvement.
• Resolve operational issues and disputes with providers promptly.
• Collaborate with internal logistics, procurement, finance and other teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Lead cost‑optimization initiatives without compromising service quality.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advances in provider management.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing third‑party service providers in logistics or supply‑chain environments, preferably within e‑commerce or retail.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts, SLAs and KPIs and driving cost‑optimization.
