Logistics Technician – International Spare Parts

About the role

Mercedes‑Benz Parts Logistics Iberica is seeking a proactive Logistics Technician to support the international spare‑parts supply chain for its automotive portfolio. The role involves coordinating orders, managing stock levels, and collaborating with European plants, suppliers and forwarders to ensure a resilient logistics operation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage orders of load carriers and follow‑up supplier deliveries.
• Monitor stock, packaging requirements and conduct comparisons.
• Communicate with suppliers and forwarders to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Handle claims and analyse load‑carrier stock for quality improvement.
• Collaborate with European Mercedes‑Benz plants to strengthen the supply chain.
• Escalate issues with managers and suppliers when necessary.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of operational systems.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply‑chain activities.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Resilient, flexible and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Fluent business English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
