Manufacturing Engineering Quality Responsible

About the role

Airbus Operations in Getafe is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Quality Responsible to join its Quality and Manufacturing Engineering team. The role bridges engineering and production, ensuring that critical quality and ground‑test documentation meets the highest standards of product quality, interchangeability, and functional compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and update technical documentation such as Instruction Verification, Interchangeability, Ground Test Instructions and Quality‑SOI based on Ground Test Requirements and the Definition Dossier.
• Coordinate with Engineering to set criteria for Ground Test Requirements and prepare functional test instructions for production.
• Create and manage interfaces between manufacturing documentation and advanced measurement software (MAA, ESN‑BMS, QDC).
• Act as Plant Focal Point for the QMGR1 Interchangeability Committee, defining documentation and compliance criteria.
• Lead migration of quality documentation from legacy Microsoft systems to G Suite.
• Provide expert metrology support, operating laser tracker equipment and using Metrolog and Spatial Analyzer software, while driving new quality‑software implementations.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 1 year experience developing Ground Test Instructions, Interchangeability, Verification Instructions and QSOIs.
• At least 1 year experience implementing shop‑floor measurement software (e.g., MAA, ESN‑BMS, Metrolog, Spatial Analyzer).
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive mindset.
