Manufacturing Process Engineer – Getafe

About the role

Airbus Operations in Getafe is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join its Manufacturing Engineering Team. The role focuses on industrial design, standardising manufacturing processes and supporting shop‑floor execution in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain to define build processes, industrial assets, jigs and tooling.
• Create and maintain routings, As‑Prepared BoMs and Standard Operating Instructions while managing configuration.
• Calculate standard times, perform Standard Work and drive continuous improvement and CAPEX planning.
• Execute PFMEA/FMEA risk analyses, ensure health & safety compliance and participate in Quality Control Boards.
• Interface with Production, Maintenance and Supply Chain to resolve work‑prep issues and manage missing parts or MRP impacts.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Previous experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Work Preparation or production within aerospace or industrial sector.
• Advanced English; Spanish is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability to international teams and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
