Manufacturing Supervisor – Automotive Division

About the role

Exide Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for its Automotive division in Azuqueca de Henares, Spain. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will ensure smooth production operations while meeting quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a group of Team/Shift Leaders who manage operators on the shop floor.
• Plan and schedule daily, weekly and monthly work for operators.
• Monitor raw material availability and accuracy in production.
• Drive EHS compliance, ensuring safety procedures and environmental safeguards are followed.
• Track and report KPIs, scrap, lead variance and other production metrics.
• Implement 5S, continuous improvement tools and problem‑solving techniques.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to maintain production efficiency.
• Communicate company objectives and operational updates to the workforce.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading production teams in an industrial or automotive environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, raw material handling and EHS standards.
• Ability to motivate staff, give constructive feedback and foster a collaborative culture.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
