Manufacturing Technology Engineer

About the role

Thales Alenia Space is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer to join its Technology department in Madrid Tres Cantos, Spain. The role focuses on defining and executing verification plans, supporting assembly processes, and ensuring the quality of manufacturing activities for space‑related hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Define verification plans that describe the tests required to validate industrial processes such as solder paste, varnish, glues, component assembly, substrates and machines.
• Manage assembly verifications and edit verification reports.
• Perform manufacturing procedures and attend SMT MPCB customer meetings.
• Support design and manufacturing phases of projects, including participation in PCB design reviews.
• Participate in international committees to introduce new materials, processes or EEE parts and conduct workshops at the TAS level.
• Maintain the internal Parts Common Data Base (PCDB).

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing verification and process validation.
• Familiarity with SMT and MPCB environments.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and international committees.
• Strong analytical skills for creating verification plans and reports.
