Material Solution and IP Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Material Solution and IP Engineer to join its Getafe (Madrid) team. You will analyse spares planning and logistics data, turning insights into profitable contracts for Initial Provisioning, Customized Spares Logistics and Lead‑Time solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and optimise Initial Provisioning (IPL) and Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL).
• Calculate and consolidate cost bases, create bidding dossiers and improve material data.
• Participate in Eurodrone supplier selection and analyse material service contributions.
• Develop customised spare parts lists based on aircraft configuration and customer requirements.
• Represent ADS in front‑of‑customer Initial Provisioning meetings and generate supporting documentation.
• Continuously optimise integrated data for spares modelling.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2‑5 years of experience in MRO, design or manufacturing.
• Advanced level of English.
• High adaptability and ability to work in a networking mode.

Required skills

• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with spares dimension tools (valued).
• Familiarity with Airbus Defence and Space products (valued).
