Mechanic / Electromechanic (3rd Class) – Hybrid Vehicles

About the role

Alsa, a bus operator with more than 20,000 employees worldwide, is looking for a 3rd-class mechanic or electromechanic for its workshop in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura. The work is supervised by the workshop manager and involves maintenance and repair of hybrid and combustion vehicles, including high-voltage battery systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on hybrid and combustion vehicles under the workshop manager's supervision.
• Diagnose and solve problems in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Take part in installing and maintaining advanced systems such as high-voltage batteries and driving sensors.
• Work with the technical team to improve processes.

Required profile

• Degree or higher education in electromechanical engineering, automotive engineering or related fields.
• Experience in electric or hybrid vehicle maintenance is valued but not required, as training is provided.
• Interest in innovation and continuous learning.
• Proactive, responsible and a team player.

What we offer

• Permanent contract, full-time Monday to Friday with weekly rotating shifts (7:00–15:00 or 15:00–22:00) and one weekly on-call shift per month.
• Salary of approximately 1,456 euros gross per month, plus on-call pay.
