Medical Copywriter – Madrid (Hybrid)

About the role

Greenpark is seeking a Medical Copywriter to join its team in Madrid (or Barcelona) on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role blends scientific expertise with creative storytelling to produce compelling promotional content for pharmaceutical brands across multiple therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clear, brand‑aligned copy for oncology, CVRM, RIA, V&I and RDU therapeutic areas, including digital assets, training materials and promotional content.
• Conduct secondary market research and analyse competitor data to inform content strategy and audience targeting.
• Interpret creative briefs, create editorial calendars, decide on content formats and publishing schedules.
• Collaborate with client service managers, strategists and creative teams to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Present concepts to internal teams and clients, incorporate feedback, and support asset approvals through regulatory processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years experience creating promotional content in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Degree in health science (medicine, pharmacy, biology, biosciences) and/or communications with proven copywriting experience for pharma marketing.
• Strong understanding of brand guidelines, regulatory standards and ability to translate complex scientific information into engaging narratives.
• Excellent time‑management, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, omnichannel environment.

Required skills

• Experience producing both print and digital assets for pharma marketing.
• Proficiency in secondary market research, data analysis and use of project‑management software.
• Knowledge of regulatory submission processes and annotation best practices.
