Medical Information / PV Specialist (German & English)

About the role

This dual-role position puts you at the forefront of patient safety. As a Medical Information / PV agent you will have daily direct contact with healthcare professionals and patients, performing key medical information call centre services and processing safety and product quality information to optimise product safety profiles across therapeutic areas. The role sits within IQVIA's safety department.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and document incoming calls, voicemails, chats, faxes and emails from investigative sites and other sources reporting lifecycle safety data, and respond to enquiries from patients and healthcare providers
• Triage MI mailbox requests, translate content where necessary, and summarise reports based on vital information
• Transfer out-of-scope inquiries to the local point of contact and disseminate clear, accurate information using approved call scripts and resources
• Create adverse event and product quality complaint reports with concise data entry, including medical terminology and narrative summaries
• As PV specialist: review, assess and process lifecycle safety data, redact personal identifiable information, and send reports to internal and external third parties in line with regulations and SOPs
• Triage and sort email case information, send and monitor translations at vendors, and enter data into Argus and APEX databases
• Track case workload and status in APEX, perform quality control, follow up cases, and reconcile them against regulatory listings and the Safety Data Exchange Agreement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a life science
• Native-level German (C2) and English at minimum C1
• Willingness to learn across lifecycle safety service lines
• Attention to detail, accuracy and strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to build effective working relationships and handle multiple projects at once
