MEP Estimator

About the role

Turner & Townsend's Real Estate team in Madrid is looking for an MEP Estimator to prepare cost estimates for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across construction and real estate projects. The role works closely with Project Management, Cost Management and technical teams during design, tender and pre-construction phases, supporting commercial decisions on offices, retail and residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates and cost plans across multiple project stages
• Analyse MEP systems, specifications and technical documentation
• Support tendering, including pre-tender estimates and bid evaluations
• Review contractor and supplier quotations for MEP packages
• Support procurement and commercial evaluation of MEP works
• Contribute to value engineering and cost optimisation
• Maintain estimating databases, pricing information and historical cost data
• Identify risks, assumptions and exclusions in estimates
• Collaborate with project, cost and technical teams and prepare estimating reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Previous MEP estimating experience in construction or real estate
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction costs and estimating methods
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Fluency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English
