Mobile Application Developer (Android)

About the role

We are looking for an Android engineer to shape the native experience of BJAK's AI‑powered Neobank app. You will create clean, fast, and reliable mobile flows that enable users to manage insurance, payments, claims, renewals and a range of financial services directly from their phones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Build end‑to‑end mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims and other financial services.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend REST APIs, ensuring stability, security and reliability.
• Optimize app performance, crash rates, loading states, responsiveness and memory usage.
• Leverage analytics and production data to continuously improve the product.
• Implement AI‑assisted experiences only when they add genuine user value.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Android architecture and a track record of shipping production apps.
• Passion for clean UX, edge‑case handling and high‑quality mobile products.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and move quickly without sacrificing code quality.
