Mobile Engineer – Build AI Neobank App

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to help build BJAK’s AI‑powered Neobank application for both Android and iOS. The role is fully remote, but candidates must reside in Spain. You will work closely with product, design and backend teams to turn complex financial journeys into smooth mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship new mobile features for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and broader financial services.
• Implement clean, reliable, and intuitive UI flows while ensuring high performance and low crash rates.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, handle loading states, errors and edge‑case scenarios in production.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate product requirements into usable mobile products.
• Support rapid product launches, experiments and iterative improvements.
• Raise and maintain high standards for mobile quality across the app.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience on Android, iOS, or both.
• Strong product sense with attention to mobile UX and performance.
• Ability to work independently, own tasks and deliver with limited supervision.
• Proven track record of shipping production‑ready apps used by real users.
• Clear communication of personal contributions within a team setting.

Required skills

• Kotlin and/or Swift.
• Android and/or iOS development frameworks.
• API integration and handling of analytics, crash logs, and production feedback.
• Version control with Git (GitHub preferred).
