MRO/Retrofit Process Leader (Temp Agency)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an MRO/Retrofit Process Leader to coordinate maintenance and retrofit activities on the shop floor in Sevilla. The role ensures seamless shift hand‑overs, manages deviations, and drives continuous improvement in a high‑mix aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee accurate information transfer between shifts to maintain work continuity.
• Manage and resolve deviations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, time and cost targets.
• Develop and maintain the blue‑collar skill matrix and organise related training.
• Unblock work orders, defects and industrial means to meet daily/weekly plans.
• Coordinate short‑term planning, preparing tasks, tools, job cards and aircraft readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, production control and quality to support continuous improvement and OES objectives.
• Lead PPS resolution at workshop level, contribute to knowledge rooms and TIP meetings.
• Monitor KPIs, address deviations and identify major industrial risks.
• Ensure proper booking hour process for blue‑collar staff and prevent foreign object damage.

Required profile

• Aeronautical Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in manufacturing and maintenance environments.
• Strong practical problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organised, structured and able to work in a multilingual setting (advanced English and Spanish).
