MRO/Retrofit Process Leader (Temporary)

About the role

A temporary position as MRO/Retrofit Process Leader is open at Airbus Defence and Space in San Pablo, Seville. The role acts as short-term planning coordinator for the function, preparing the next day's and week's work and supporting the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure information flows without gaps between shifts so that work is continuous.
• Manage deviations and monitor the relevant KPIs, solving deviations from targets and identifying major industrial risks.
• Develop the blue-collar skill matrix and help organise training and processes for the team.
• Unblock work orders, defects and industrial means so the daily and weekly plan can be met.
• Prepare the next day and week's tasks and planning, including people, tools, job cards and aircraft conditions needed for the job.
• Collaborate with support functions, engineering, production control and quality, and contribute to continuous improvement and the OES.
• Lead PPS resolution at workshop level, develop knowledge rooms, take part in performance tracker reviews and represent the workshop in TIP meetings.
• Secure the booking hours of blue-collar staff, prevent foreign object damage and support the shop floor.

Required profile

• Aeronautical engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of maintenance environments.
• Advanced level of English and Spanish.
