MRTT & LTA Flight Operations Support Internship (Discover II)

About the role

Join Airbus’s Discover II programme as a Flight Operations Support intern, working on MRTT and Light Transport Aircraft (LTA) configurations. You will spend 11 months in Getafe, gaining hands‑on experience with military transport aircraft and contributing to operational documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Configuration and data management for military transport aircraft.
• Analyse aircraft configuration and support flight‑operations products.
• Create and update operational instructions, service requests and alerts for crew.
• Use internal tools (IDS, ADOC, Samanta, FODM) to manage input data and generate technical content.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced Flight Operations Support engineers.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.
• Native Spanish speaker with at least B2 level English.
• General knowledge of aircraft systems, design and operation.
• Analytical mindset and ability to work in a complex environment.
