Network Administrator

About the role

medmix, a global leader in high-precision delivery devices, is looking for a Network Administrator in Valencia. The role goes beyond traditional network operations: you will manage and continuously improve the worldwide network infrastructure, work with leading service providers and help shape the company's digital future. You will contribute to strategic technology decisions, drive innovation, set global standards and ensure secure, reliable connectivity for its international business.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate external network service providers.
• Manage the global WAN/LAN/WLAN infrastructure, including implementation and operation of the network environment.
• Plan, organise and optimise the internal processes of the network team while complying with security policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Position the network team as a key partner for digitalisation and a driver of digital innovation.
• Establish an innovation management approach to identify IT trends and implement a unified IT strategy aligned with the business.
• Prepare the global budget and ensure compliance with local legal entity requirements.
• Define and maintain network guidelines and ways of working, keeping documentation and visual overviews up to date.

Required profile

• Vocational training in IT, such as an IT specialist qualification, preferably with further qualifications.
• Several years of professional experience in the network environment as a consultant, with solid hands-on experience.
• Ability to work in a team, as well as a careful and independent way of working.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with Cisco.
• Experience with firewalls, troubleshooting, security and ISE.
• Wireless technologies.
