New Model Program Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a New Model Program Engineer who will lead milestone reviews, act as project manager and ensure launch quality operating system (LQOS) deliverables are met from launch readiness to final status report.

Key responsibilities

• Lead senior management milestone reviews to confirm program readiness for the next build.
• Manage the launch project, delivering on cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Facilitate issue resolution across cross‑functional teams and support the NML Specialist in measuring program compliance.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, safety standards and records retention.
• Drive continuous improvement of launch processes and capture lessons learned.
• Organise and lead stakeholder meetings based on LQOS standards.
• Utilise project‑management tools to track and report deliverables.
• Provide on‑site support at manufacturing facilities to guarantee LQOS compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 2‑4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or program management.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work with employees at all organisational levels.
• Experience with the 8D problem‑solving methodology.
• Proficient PC skills and internet applications.

Required skills

• 8D problem‑solving discipline.
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Ford systems such as WERS, Vehicle Ordering and Scheduling Systems, CMMS3 and LQOS.
