Occupational Health Physician

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Occupational Health Physician to join its Medical & Occupational Health Team at the Getafe site. You will work within a multidisciplinary health unit, focusing on preventive medicine, emergency response, and promoting a health‑focused culture for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical surveillance tailored to specific job profiles and risk exposures.
• Diagnose and prevent work‑related pathologies while supporting job retention.
• Identify vulnerable employee groups and refer them to appropriate specialists.
• Develop, pilot, and participate in occupational health projects in collaboration with specialized teams.
• Provide fitness‑to‑work recommendations based on workplace risks and individual health assessments.
• Organise emergency response procedures and ensure high‑quality first‑aid provision on site.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine, preferably with a specialization in Occupational Medicine.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an occupational health role.
• Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Excellent communication, strong empathy, and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
