About the role

Alsa is looking for a qualified 3rd‑class workshop officer (mechanic/electromechanic) to join its maintenance team in Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife. You will work on both hybrid and conventional vehicles, applying the latest automotive technologies while ensuring safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hybrid and combustion‑engine vehicles.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
• Install and maintain high‑voltage battery packs, hydrogen fuel cells, and advanced driver‑assistance sensors.
• Collaborate with the workshop manager and technical team to improve processes and implement new technologies.

Required profile

• Medium or higher level training in electromechanics, automotive technology, or a related field.
• Interest in working with electric and hybrid mobility solutions.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow safety procedures.
