On-site Salesperson – Insurance & Investment Products

About the role

We are looking for an on‑site Salesperson to promote TATIL Life’s insurance and investment solutions in Port of Spain. You will engage prospective clients, understand their financial protection and savings needs, and guide them to the most suitable products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients through face‑to‑face outreach.
• Present and explain TATIL Life’s general, life, and investment products.
• Manage a pipeline of leads, conduct in‑person meetings and prepare proposals.
• Follow up to close sales while maintaining accurate records in company systems.
• Provide post‑sale support, answer client queries and ensure smooth policy onboarding.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver service and meet compliance standards.
• Achieve defined sales targets and represent TATIL Life professionally in the community.

Required profile

• Strong sales, persuasion and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to present complex financial concepts clearly.
• Customer‑service orientation focused on building long‑term relationships.
• Basic financial literacy and interest in insurance and investment products; prior experience in financial services or insurance is an asset.
• Organizational and time‑management skills with accurate record‑keeping.
• Comfortable working on‑site and engaging face‑to‑face with clients.
• Minimum secondary school diploma; post‑secondary education in Business, Finance, Marketing or related fields is advantageous.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Owns a car or has reliable access to one.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use digital tools for lead management, documentation and communication.
