Operations Team Leader – MFC (Malaga)

About the role

As the Operations Team Leader for the Málaga micro‑fulfilment centre (MFC), you will be responsible for end‑to‑end store performance, ensuring efficient warehouse processes, accurate inventory and high‑quality customer fulfilment. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead a team of roughly 30 pickers and couriers and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to meet operational KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive operational and delivery KPIs for the Málaga store.
• Recruit, train and develop a team of pickers and couriers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Plan weekly schedules and staffing levels to match demand forecasts while controlling labour costs.
• Coordinate with fleet operations to ensure smooth last‑mile execution.
• Escalate facilities, HR and supply issues to the appropriate teams.
• Work with Operations, Category Management, Health & Safety, Procurement and other functions to ensure flawless execution.
• Lead project implementation, analyse results and translate findings into actionable improvement plans.
• Report weekly to the Area Manager with data‑driven analysis and recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in fast‑paced logistics, operations or supply environments.
• Hands‑on leadership style with proven ability to manage large teams and build trust.
• Strong analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting KPI dashboards and turning data into action.
• Excellent judgment, accountability and a bias for action.
• Resilient, agile and able to thrive in ambiguous situations.
• Fluent in Spanish and strong English communication skills.
