Operations Team Leader – Micro‑Fulfillment Center

About the role

Glovo is looking for an Operations Team Leader to manage its Micro‑Fulfillment Center (MFC) in Hospitalet (Barcelona). You will own end‑to‑end store operations, driving warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy and high‑quality customer fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive operational and delivery KPIs.
• Hire, train and develop a team of around 30 pickers and couriers, fostering a culture of ownership.
• Plan weekly schedules and staffing to meet demand forecasts while controlling labor costs.
• Coordinate with fleet operations to ensure smooth last‑mile execution.
• Escalate and follow up on facilities, HR and supply issues with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (Operations, Category Management, Health & Safety, Procurement) to ensure flawless execution.
• Lead project implementation, translate analysis into actionable tasks and drive continuous improvement.
• Report weekly to the Area Manager with data‑driven analysis and action plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in fast‑paced logistics, operations or supply environments.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to manage large teams and build high‑trust relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset; comfortable reading KPI dashboards and turning data into action.
• Good judgment, accountability and willingness to own mistakes.
• Ability to devise smart solutions to complex, multidisciplinary problems.
• Highly agile and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
• Respectful, kind, fair and consistently praised by direct reports.
• Ambitious, bias for action, deadline‑oriented and results‑driven.
• Excellent communication skills; Spanish required, high‑level English strongly preferred.
