OT Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

The OT Cybersecurity Specialist will protect the industrial environments of a leading food and consumer‑goods group. Working from the corporate headquarters in Barcelona, the role bridges factories, IT teams and external OT security partners to drive security architecture, governance and project delivery across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve OT security architectures, including network segmentation and secure remote‑access solutions.
• Coordinate OT security projects across international manufacturing sites.
• Manage external OT security, networking and industrial‑cybersecurity providers.
• Serve as the main liaison between factories, engineering, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Support industrial risk assessments and OT security improvement initiatives.
• Oversee OT security operations, monitoring and secure connectivity services.
• Ensure alignment between IT and OT security standards and operational realities.
• Generate reporting and updates for cybersecurity leadership and steering committees.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity or network security within industrial environments.
• Background working with manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of network security, segmentation, firewalls and industrial connectivity.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 or similar industrial cybersecurity frameworks.
• Proven ability to coordinate external providers and manage multi‑site projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
