About the role

The Faculty of Education, Translation, Sport and Psychology at UVic-UCC is recruiting an associate teaching staff member to deliver the course "Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales II" within the Double Degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Primary School Teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 6 ECTS credits of Didactics of Social Sciences II, delivering both theoretical and practical content.
• Prepare lecture materials, practical activities, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with the Department of Didactics of the Arts and Sciences to align curriculum with program objectives.
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of the teaching programme.

Required profile

• Recognised academic qualification (master’s degree or equivalent) in education, social sciences, or a related field.
• Official recognition of foreign qualifications according to Spanish Royal Decree 889/2022, or a declaration of equivalence to be submitted within three years.
• Ability to teach in Spanish and/or Catalan and to integrate theory with practical applications.
• Commitment to the university’s values of quality teaching, innovative research, and internationalisation.
