People Operations & HR Business Partner (M/F/NB) – Madrid

About the role

We are looking for a People Operations & HR Business Partner to join our Madrid team on a 6‑month maternity cover. Reporting to the Managing Director of People for Southern Europe, you will act as an HR generalist, partnering with global People teams and supporting roughly 100 employees across our headquarters and shopping centres.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual Compensation Review for Spain, handling salary analysis, reporting and coordination with global and local stakeholders.
• Manage end‑to‑end employee benefits in Spain, liaising with payroll providers, benefits brokers and external vendors.
• Oversee employee lifecycle administration in Workday, including hires, terminations, absences and data accuracy.
• Produce quarterly HR controlling reports and support staff and non‑staff budget monitoring.
• Drive change‑management initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Design and coordinate learning weeks and development programmes aligned with identified capability gaps.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR generalist or HR Business Partner, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong analytical skills for compensation and benefits data.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with global HR centres of excellence.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
