About the role

Alsa is looking for a 2nd‑class workshop mechanic/electromechanic to join its maintenance team in Gáldar. You will work on a mixed fleet of hybrid and conventional buses, ensuring safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on hybrid and combustion‑engine buses.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced electrical and mechanical system issues.
• Install and maintain high‑voltage battery packs and driving‑sensor systems.
• Collaborate with the technical team to implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Medium or higher level training in electromechanics, automotive or related fields.
• Proactive, responsible attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Possession of a D‑class bus driving licence is a plus.

Required skills

• Maintenance of hybrid and combustion‑engine buses.
• Diagnostic skills for complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Installation of high‑voltage battery systems.
• Working with advanced sensor technologies.

• Permanent contract with full‑time rotating shifts (7:00‑15:00 or 15:00‑22:00) and one weekly on‑call duty.
