Platform Engineer – Tech Foundations

About the role

Alan is looking for a Platform Engineer to join the Infra Crew within the Tech Foundations area. You will help build and evolve the multi‑cloud infrastructure, data platforms and operational practices that enable product teams to ship safely and quickly across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Alan’s cloud footprint and multi‑cloud architecture.
• Maintain and improve the Infrastructure‑as‑Code stack (Terraform, Terramate).
• Design and implement architectural decisions that support international expansion.
• Operate and enhance data and application platforms such as PostgreSQL/Aurora, event pipelines and asynchronous processing.
• Ensure observability, reliability and security across the platform using tools like Datadog and Cloudflare.

Required profile

• Strong engineering mindset with a focus on ownership and delivery.
• Experience building and operating large‑scale, multi‑cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work closely with product crews and provide a seamless developer experience.
