About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is offering an internship within its Purchasing Cluster in Catalonia. The position is designed for university students or recent graduates to gain hands‑on experience in procurement and support the team in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the purchasing team with assigned tasks and projects.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with other team members.
• Conduct research and data analysis related to procurement activities.
• Help prepare reports, presentations and other required documents.
• Support the management of databases and relevant records.
• Stay updated on trends and developments in the field.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled university student or recent graduate in a relevant degree.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Basic computer literacy.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
