About the role

We are seeking a Primary Teacher to cover maternity leave at the British School of Vila‑Real, part of the International Schools (ISP) network. The role follows ISP Principles: placing children at the heart of everything, ensuring wellbeing and safety, treating everyone with care and respect, operating effectively, being financially responsible, and learning continuously. The teacher will uphold safeguarding and health‑and‑safety standards, contribute to an inclusive culture, and support the school’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. All staff are subject to thorough vetting, background checks and must adhere to ISP policies and procedures.
