Principal Process Engineer – Oil & Gas Petrochemical

About the role

Massy Wood is seeking a Principal Process Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical sector. The role carries overall technical, budget, schedule and resourcing responsibility for the discipline on assigned projects and may act as Lead Engineer on designated contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the discipline’s technical delivery, ensuring compliance with Massy Wood and client standards.
• Develop and manage discipline scopes of work, estimates, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate technical matters within the discipline and with other disciplines.
• Provide technical assurance of deliverables, IDC prints and vendor documents.
• Represent Massy Wood to clients, suppliers and vendors, promoting capabilities and identifying new work.
• Support discipline personnel development, resource planning and document control.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability assessments and ensure operational and maintenance considerations are addressed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in process engineering within the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
• Proven ability to manage technical, budgetary and scheduling aspects of large projects.
• Strong knowledge of client‑specific standards and project management systems.
• Excellent communication skills for client and vendor interaction.
