Private Equity Technology Intern

About the role

This 12‑month internship is based in Madrid and offers a unique chance to work at the intersection of private equity and cutting‑edge AI technology. You will join a small, ambitious team and help transform the firm into an AI‑native investment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and build AI‑driven tools for sourcing, screening, and analyzing investment opportunities.
• Automate market research and industry trend tracking to create proprietary information advantages.
• Partner with portfolio companies to identify operational bottlenecks and implement strategic AI solutions.
• Develop intelligent automation for daily operations and logistics.
• Build code‑based pipelines that integrate diverse data sources into AI‑enhanced workflows.

Required profile

• Final‑year Bachelor’s or Master’s student based in Madrid, starting September 2026.
• Background in technology or engineering, preferably with startup or fast‑paced experience.
• Strong foundation in product development, computer science, data analytics, or engineering.
• Passion for startups, venture capital, private equity, and emerging technologies.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficient coding in Python.
• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor Composer.
• Familiarity with databases like Supabase, Notion, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Working knowledge of APIs and coding agents.
