Procurement Specialist with Spanish

About the role

ABB is seeking a Procurement Specialist who is fluent in Spanish and English to support the Energy Industries Spain business unit. The role is based in Madrid and operates in a hybrid model, combining office presence with remote work. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with ABB standards and contributing to cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders in SAP.
• Manage direct purchasing across SAP, BOL, SoFa and Wizard platforms.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and monitor timely payments.
• Track open orders, confirm deliveries and process goods receipts.
• Support supplier onboarding and registration via Ariba.
• Maintain vendor master data using MDG.
• Report savings and assist with RFQ processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of operational procurement or supply‑chain experience.
• Proficient business English (B2/C1) and fluent Spanish (C1/C2).
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• SAP procurement module.
• Ariba supplier management.
• MDG for vendor master data.
• Advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with BOL, SoFa and Wizard platforms.
