Product Data Officer (Medical Devices) - Hybrid / Temporary

About the role

iQVIA is recruiting 8 Product Data Officers for its Product Reference Team in Madrid. This is a 6-month temporary position in a multicultural, dynamic and collaborative team, focused on the growing Medical Devices sector. You will help build, maintain and improve the Global Medical Devices Product Reference Database by researching, analysing, standardising and validating product information from many sources, and work with Governance and Business teams on data improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and validate equivalent product records across multiple data sources to ensure consistency and integration.
• Create, update and maintain Medical Devices product reference data.
• Classify, standardise and group products according to business rules, hierarchies and procedures.
• Research products using internal and external sources, and use AI and digital tools to collect, structure and analyse product information.
• Review and verify AI-generated content for accuracy, quality and compliance.
• Analyse product data with Governance and Business teams to suggest enhancements and process improvements.
• Detect and correct inaccurate, incomplete or duplicate records, and resolve routine data issues.
• Perform quality control checks, maintain process documentation and look for automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, Data Analytics, Information Management or a related field.
• Knowledge of Medical Devices products, classifications and terminology is highly valued.
• Advanced English (written and spoken); French, German or Italian is a strong asset.
