Production and Transport Planner

About the role

LyondellBasell is seeking a Production and Transport Planner to optimise the flow of raw materials, finished goods and transport operations. The role focuses on profitability, inventory turnover and timely delivery to both internal plants and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily production plans, verify raw‑material availability and finished‑goods readiness.
• Monitor MRP signals in SAP, adjust orders and coordinate with suppliers, production and logistics.
• Manage silo allocations, track inventory levels and allocate batches using FIFO principles.
• Confirm carrier pickups, resolve transport issues and prepare export documentation when required.
• Support urgent shipments, troubleshoot stock‑outs and collaborate with planning, production and quality teams.
• Ensure safety, compliance and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.

Required profile

• Vocational training in logistics/transport or higher education in economics.
• Experience in a similar planning role is an advantage.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Good knowledge of transport regulations, customs procedures, insurance and Incoterms.

Required skills

• SAP (especially F2P and P2D modules).
• Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Understanding of MRP planning processes.
