Production Operator – Horizontal Lathe

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Castellon. The role focuses on operating conventional horizontal lathes and, when required, vertical lathes or milling machines to produce high‑quality components.

Key responsibilities

• Operate conventional horizontal lathes and set up workpieces.
• Read and interpret machining plans, symbols, and standards.
• Define cutting conditions, select tools, and establish work sequences.
• Perform dimensional checks using various measuring devices.
• Control mooring and handling of parts with overhead cranes.
• Follow manufacturing instructions, procedures, and safety rules.

Required profile

• Upper secondary education with an electromechanical technical focus or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of trigonometry and its application in machining.
• Proven experience in conventional machining operations.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts (6h‑14h, 14h‑22h, 22h‑6h).
• Strong team spirit and adherence to safety standards.
