About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Professor of Business and History for the 2026‑27 academic year at our International School in Aravaca. The role involves teaching secondary and high‑school students, preparing them for exams and further education while upholding our commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusive learning.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans for secondary/high‑school Business and History classes.
Deliver engaging and effective instruction that motivates learners.
Assess and monitor student learning progress and provide feedback.
Prepare students for examinations and post‑secondary education pathways.
Uphold school safeguarding, health and safety standards in the classroom.

Required profile

Degree in education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification.
Experience teaching secondary or high‑school students.

Required skills

Strong subject‑matter expertise and instructional skills.
Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
Ability to engage and motivate secondary/high‑school students.
