Project Manager – Capital Projects (€40‑100M)

About the role

Fluor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead sustainable capital projects valued between €40 million and €100 million. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while fostering a collaborative, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of projects in line with contract terms and HSE requirements.
• Develop and maintain the project baseline and communicate updates to multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor safety, quality, cost, and productivity across all sites.
• Participate in technical and commercial proposals, including estimating and strategic planning.

Required profile

• 4‑year engineering or technical degree with at least 8 years of EPC/EPCm experience in the petrochemical sector.
• Proven track record managing projects for clients such as Repsol, BP, BASF, or similar.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel and work on temporary site assignments.

Required skills

• Microsoft Project for planning and resource loading.
• Project Controls: progress measurement, risk management, WBS/CoA creation.
• Cost control, change management, margin analysis.
• In‑depth knowledge of EPC/EPCm processes (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Basic understanding of contracts, legal aspects, and regulations.
• PMP certification (preferred).
