Project Manager - Residential Development, Málaga

About the role

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Project Manager for a residential development in Málaga. The post-holder ensures the project complies with brand requirements and acts as the main link between the developer and the brand, coordinating the customisation of the residences according to client needs under the supervision of the design team.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and lead the overall project execution plan, including critical success factors and key performance indicators.
• Ensure controls and reporting are in place for quality, health and safety, compliance, change, risk and environment.
• Maintain project reporting, governance, processes and systems throughout the project.
• Lead the project team, including end-user stakeholders, design consultants, engineers, contractors and suppliers.
• Manage the design team so that documentation matches the brief, client requirements and corporate standards.
• Run the full procurement process: set RFP/tender requirements, evaluate proposals, chair interviews and recommend appointments.
• Monitor project finances, coordinate cost reports with the cost consultant, track cost drivers and variations and report progress against budget.
• Facilitate information flow between client, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers through regular meetings, reports, action registers and presentations.
• Carry out regular site inspections, check safe work practices, monitor progress and assure quality of works.
• Communicate with all parties at every stage of the project.
• Manage permitting, statutory submissions and approvals.
• Generate lessons learned, benchmark data and knowledge sharing from each project.

Required profile

• Construction-related degree (e.g. Project Management, Construction Management, Design, Engineering) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of construction and project management experience.
• Experience on residential projects in Spain, from feasibility to successful handover.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish.
