Project Manager – Superyacht Paint Refits

About the role

We are an established superyacht finishing specialist expanding in Spain, seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead major paint refit and repair projects across the Mediterranean. You will work on‑site, supporting the Senior Project Manager and gradually taking ownership of complex refit programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and deliver superyacht paint refit and repair projects.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and equipment to meet timelines and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate delays, risks and operational issues early.
• Liaise with captains, owners’ representatives, shipyard managers, paint manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Lead on‑site teams, ensuring productivity, quality control and final sign‑off.
• Manage project variations, commercial documentation and reporting.
• Monitor environmental and application conditions per manufacturer requirements.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and travel to other European sites as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex technical, marine or shipyard projects.
• Strong planning, scheduling and organisational abilities.
• Confident communication with clients, captains, owners’ representatives and senior management.
• Ability to manage risks, variations, deadlines and operational challenges.
• Self‑starting, proactive attitude with solid leadership skills.
