Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) Accountant – French speaker

About the role

Join Volvo Cars' Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) team as a Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) Accountant. Based in Madrid, you will support the finance processes that enable safe, sustainable mobility solutions across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily execution of PTP processes and act as the main contact for Volvo Cars entities in EMEA and the BPO delivery team.
• Handle issue resolution for inquiries related to PTP, including self‑billing invoice processes for direct materials and support for indirect material processes.
• On‑board new suppliers, set up records, fix issues and identify improvement areas.
• Analyse overdue invoices, manage supplier inquiries and approve invoice payment proposals.
• Perform period‑end PTP activities, KPI analysis, account reconciliation and inter‑company reconciliation.
• Provide phone support for supplier calls and resolve escalated tickets through the ticketing system.

Required profile

• Accountant with strong customer acumen.
• Fluent in French.
• Experience with Purchase‑to‑Pay processes and supplier management.
• Based in Madrid and able to work in a global, multi‑national environment.
